Problem with red hat 8!

I've a problem with the install of the SPM, the SPM should give me a key code, i have to give this code to softimage and than softimage give me the definitive key code

BUT ....

the SPM doesn't work and i can't have my code ! and
than i can't launch install of XSI ...

Softimage said the SPM is not compatible with red hat 8.0 !!!! ????
if it is ...i think ...it' s a shame !

IS THERE SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP ME PLEASE !!!

What version of SPM are you using? Is this the first time that you are installing it? While 8.0 is not a supported version by Softimage as of yet I am running 3.01 on it.

Can you paste the last couple of lines from the spm log here.
