Problems with rotation

First I get a cylinder and I rotate it 90% in Z axis, after that I rotate it in Y axis in local mode (X axis global) but the cylinder rotates in Y global instead of X global.
Why?

Works fine here....

Instead of using a 90 degrees measure, try using 89.9999. Perhaps you are experiencing a gimbal lock.
