Okay, this is driving me crazy. I've just upgraded from Maya 4.0 to Maya 7.0. When I animate, I like to have my rotate tool set to snap every 1 degree. For some reason, Maya 7.0 won't do what I want. I double click on the rotate tool, turn on snap rotate and set the step size to 1.oo, but when I start to rotate my objects, they snap to every 15 degrees! If I retype 1 in the step size, then it rotates properly. Also, everytime I start Maya 7.0, my objects never snap rotates, even though the rotate dialogue box has the snap rotate checked. I find this absolutely stupid. On a side note, when I actually get the snap rotate to work properly, when I highlight one of the rotational axis in the channel editor (thus seeing a yellow circle around the selected object) and use the middle mouse button to rotate the selected object, the object does not snap rotate. Is there anyway to have it snap rotate, like how Maya 4.0 used to do?
Another question, but this time regarding the graph editor. In Maya 4.0, when I selected keyframes and start to move them, their change in value is indicated dynamically at the top of the graph editor window. In Maya 7.0, when I do the same thing, the values are not updated until I let go of the button. Again, is there anyway to have this function behave like it did in Maya 4.0?
