hi,
i am trying to simulate movement of a gelatin, when it shakes, it kinda wiggles but it is stationary. i use qstretch to achieve this but i have to translate the whole object to see it work and the object is not supposed to leave its place. any suggestions are most welcome.
thanks,

I don't understand what you are trying to do with your gelatin. When you shake it, it already has movements. What do you mean by don't wnat the object to leave. What do you mean?
what i meant was i use qstretch to simulate the shake but i have to translate the object to achieve this. i just need the wiggle effect without making the object leave its position.
Try constraining the camera direction to the jelly so thatthe jelly's position relative to the camera remains the same.
(works in Lightwave)

Sorry, 3D Guy, my last post regarding constraining the camera wasrubbish!
What I should have said - this works fine in XSI and Lightwave, (not sure about Soft3D)is to create a Null and PARENT your camera and your jelly (and your lights) to the null. Now when you branch select the heiracrchy and translate it the jelly will appear to be stationary.
