When I first bought my computer, I installed 2 Nvidia GeForce 9600s, connected by an SLI connector. I recently purchased 2 Quadro 600s, believing them to be SLI-capable. When I installed them, there was no place for the SLI connector. Upon reading the manual for the Quadro, I saw that while the Quadros support Multi View SLI, they do not support Frame Rendering. The GeForces had 512Mb of memory (each); the Quadros have 1G each. Have I made a bad purchase? I still have time to return them but not much more money to spend to upgrade
I have an ASUS motherboard (780i) and 8G of RAM, with a 2.4 G Quad core CPU O/C'd to 3G. Any comments would be very welcome. Thank you in advance.
