Is there any advantage for two Quadro FX 3700?
My motherboard support it and I am using it for Maya 8.

not really get a 6800 instead for that money.

I got this Quadro FX 3700 for less than $500. It works great with single card
but I was wondering in the future when the price get cheaper and perhap
I can add another similar card and hope this add to the advantage.
Buying 6800 is out of the question as I don't think it can mix.
Any input is welcome.

It never quite works that way. Teres a lot og problems with the SLIed card configs. But mainly because by the time later you can get the next gen card isntead (quadro cards prices dont exactly drop much at all over their lifespan, because of teh 3 year guarantee*) Because the feature set of yours is now obsolete.

The only reason id get a second card iwould be if i used cuda for computation.

*and by 3 years time you will want a new card regardless.
