I just been looking at the requirements to run WinXp and can someone tell me, whats the point in having an OS that gulps 128MB of memory before you think of running any major app? Compare that with Linux where you can configure a WEB Server on a 486 with 64 MB of Ram??!! Maybe its me not seein the logic here.....
-somebody famous once said that nobody would never need more than 640K to run an OS (DOS at the time)
software develpers will always use advances in hardware to their advantage - maybe XP will be worth the investment in RAM?
