Quickpaint Persist Question

HI people!
the persist stroke is long for all the frame in the scene.
I need sometime to have the stroke start from a specific frame... ex: from 1 to 10 nothing and from 10 to the end I want my stroke... the solution I found is to make a persist stroke and then convert it into frame stroke telling the frame range (ex: 10 - 250)... nut with this method, shake generate new stroke for every frame!!!
is think there is another way more simple...
thanks a lot!!

Why don't you just use a fade node right after your QuickPaint to take it tout from frames 1-10?

If your QP is actually doing some cloning/smudging/reveal, you could always use a select node to switch from an 'unaffected' input to the painted input in frame 10.

Just set the stroke mode to INTERP, then draw on the first frame you want painted, go to the last frame, do the same. If you just draw them halfway similar, the interpolation paints the in-between frames OK. Not as elegant as bluepixel's solution, but does the trick 99% of the time.

thanks a lot for the suggestions!
