Rain drops

ok, I've been making it rain on my T. rex, particles, and when they hit it creates a new particle that is the drip that travels down the side. this is what I have so far, http://pilotltkettch.250free.com/raining3.zip. the particles don't come round the surface and stick to the surface like real water would. does anyone know of a way to get the particles to do this? thanks in advance

You can have the particle use the surfaces UV coordinates to trace around to the underside.. but the UV mappings would then be very relevant to how it behaved. There is a tutorial on how to do this in the Inside Maya 5 book.

I cant help you but i was hoping you could help me.
I need to create rain that hits the ground nicly.
Any ideas how I can do this?
