Rain & Fog

Hi all i was just inquiring if anyone knew the script for Rain and fog.. im a Maya user and i was just thinking its easier for me too use shake for this kind of effect than Maya.. please if anyone knows of any tutorials please send me the link!!

Might help.. although it's really LASHING rain.. might be good for background rain.

Smoke I used a Photoshop image, generated a cloud image from the filters and maxed out all the blacks... added a warper to it so looks more turbulant, along with a Move2D. For more serious/complex smoke you're better off getting footage shot on a black plate and again max it out.

If you use motion, it has some easy smoke particles you can add as moving fog. If you just want haze, use compress node with a ramp driving it (read the tutorial manual on using zdepth to add fog to a zeplin shot)
