I have a background in shake but need to educate myself in Nuke for a stereoscopic workflows. I have some experience in stereoscopic comp work, but not using Nuke. I figure the transfer should be easy enough. That said, I'm looking at getting my hands dirty between gigs, to prepare myself for the next go-around. I'm looking at taking some courses from either gnomon or FXPHD. Is there anyone who has experience with either, which would you recommend for Nuke Stereoscopic?
With Gnomon the subscriber (for Visual effects & games subscription) is able to pull from a huge well of video libraries, where as with FXphd the subscriber is locked into a set of well focussed video classes specific for the topic, but I know fxPhd quality exceptionally high.
I'm not interested in turning this into a who's who or a "school vs. school" contest. Just interested in what other compers think of the resources provided at these two quality educational facilities.
Thanks a bunch you guys.
