Realistic glass in XSI

How do I make realistic glass in XSI??
Ive hear that there was a IOR bug in the shaders, is this true?

I've heard about that IOR bug but I have never run into it. (and I've done quite a lot of glass)

Color Corr:
Gamma=1
Contrast=0.85
Level=0.624

Intensity:
Factor=0.5

Refraction= 1.1

These settings worked for me.
Remember to change the raydepth in Render-> Options -> Optimization.

There is a bug. I wrote an e-mail about it to softimage and they agreed that IOR is wrong.

P.S.: I wonder how anyone could make glass with an XSI shader. The bug is big and obvious.

Thats bad, I mean how come it wasnt fixed when its so obvious?
Anyway, can you confirm this IOR bug in some way? Have anyone else mailed avid about this?

Yes, the refraction in general behaves completely wrong. A ray seams only be refracted by the first surface of an object, all other surfaces behind are ignored. You can get right refraction when you load an SI 3D shader, but you can

I import SI`s glass shader to get the right refraction ,the next way ,copy the surface , inverse the normals ,set IOR and Transparency color= 1 .
