I would like to know how or where can i find a way to texture my character to make it look reralistic.
That is a loaded question if I've ever seen one. A skin shader alone will not get you there. It's really quite an involved task. Two things I'd suggest - one: use photographs as your texture maps. Go to www.3d.sk and subscribe for a measly $13 and get like 4000 pictures in 3000x3000 resolution.
Two: know what end result your are going for. yes ideally you need some sort of skin shader that deals with transluscence but beware, I've found these to be very overrated, remember that Gollum in LOTR was done without subsurface scattering, and rendered at 8 minutes a frame. This goes to show you that artistry can win over technique (not that Gollum wasn't technical obviously)
So, basically, a shader isn't enough. That's 10%. The rest is lighting, a carefully balanced bump map & specular map, and of course good lighting.
