Remastering 30 To 24 Hangs Shake 4.0

Can't seem to get Shake to Remaster some HDCAM 1080 30fps Progressive footage
to 24 fps. Trying to get a film look going for some footage that was shot 30 fps.

Seems to hang after doing about 6 or 7 frames on a file out node. I have to do a force quit on the flipbook. The application then returns to normal.

Running a Quad with 4.5 gigs of ram.

Any ideas.

Try using the PullUp 3:2 (30 to 24 fps) in the sFileIn node.

I've the same problem with my g5 quad. But if I make the retime with my dual i don't have the problem.

Do you know any solution for resolve this?

I also have no probs with this on my dual 2.7 G5...

Just another datapoint in a stream of data.

Try setting your maxThread (under renderControls in Globals) to "1". I realize this defeats the purpose of a dual prossesor, but it works. Apple says it is a glitch they need to fix. Hope it helps.
