How do you remove specific nodes in history...
e.g. build a poly cube, moves some vertices, select some faces, apply a smooth to selected faces, add a planar map projection.
Aftwards can you remove the "tweaks" or the "smooth" or a specific UV Map projection node?
All this is possible with MAX's modifier stack.
Obviously removing certain constructs in the pipeline can "garble" the mesh but you should still be able to do this in Maya somehow.
I'm using Maya 4.02.
