A 6k image printed at 300dpi will end up 20"x20". That's fairly large.
Anyway, try rendering it in sections. From a command-line render, you would do something like;
Render -x 6000 -y 6000 -xl 0 -xr 1000 -yl 0 -yh 1000 ...etc...
the -xl and -xr tags render only the region specified (pixes 0-1000 in the above example) , -yl and -yh do the same in Y.
Your next render would render pixels 1001-2000 in x, 0-1000 in Y.
This would split your render into 36 separate chunks.
YOu may have trouble with glow and motion blur- in which case, add the glow and blur manually in photoshop.
