Rendering Hud In Final Image

Hi,

i know how to setup customs HUD and i have them in my playblast animation
now i would like to have the HUD rendered overlay in my rendered animation (not the playblast) so i can remember some of my tweaks when i play my annimation in fcheck

does anyone knows anything about this ?

well theres no tool for this, you can offcourse do a planar text parent it to the camera and animate the text itself.

However i do not recomend this, theres several reasons but the most prominent is that you can dump the data to some external file and let your player show this as subtitles. But the thing is now these images are permanently on the image, and you cant know how often you'd wish later to acces the one without the text.

the fact that images would be permanently on the image was not a problem for me
i was thinking of this solution for my tests, so at the end i would have had to re-render the entire animation anyway
but your subtitles idea is very smart !
i will dig in this direction

Yes i know that, but you know, when it comes to church time afterwards its very often that those tests become the final images. Especially when you suddenly find yourself in a position where you need a new demo reel, pronto, then cutting then the lack of titles will be a boon. Trust me it happens.
