As anyone an idea how to replace fcheck with another programm for viewing playblasted sequences? I mean is it possible that another program starts showing the rendered sequence instead of fcheck. Maybe with a bit mel programming?

try to go to the iridas web site at www.iridas.com , you'll find framecycler and a script to use it inside maya.
