Reverting a value

Hi you all

I would like to ask you if exisist in MEL a command to revert the value of a number in order to convert 1 in o and viceversa.
At the moment I am working around with an IF conditional structure but I suppose there is some commands that can make everything more elegant.

I look forward for your usefull tips.
