Rhinoceros 3D .3dm import?

Hi,
Anybody can tell me how to import Rhino3D NURBS models to Maya (or export models with Rhino to any format which is understood by Maya)?
Rhino can save .obj files but after opening them with Maya I get only a bunch of un unusable curves instead of the desired NURBS surfaces.
Please help me if you can. Thank you in advance.

use the IGES format
I believe you have to turn on the plugin in Maya.
There is a Maya setting for export from Rhino.
Full NURBS support.

Please help me in one more thing if I can ask. I found Rhino's
IGES export panel and its "Maya" option too.
Unfortunately I'm still not able to import the model to Maya
5.0 ---> a small window pops up saying : "Unrecognized File Type"
I think I don't have to set anything in Maya it supposed to
import .igs without any problem or not...?

Yes sure but maya doesent load up all its mods on startup so go and set the alias imprter plug loaded from the plugin manager... No need to load functions you dont need... doesent mean they arent there!

Except i think mac has some less options on this but i think theyve fixed most in maya 5.0 release
