Right click menu not working

tutorials keep saying that right clicking gets me the context menu....not for me!!!....is there a preference??

yes it is alt + right click.

The one thing I have notice about the right click menu is that it wont come up if you have one the transofrm tools active. So if you have an objects polygon selected and Scale is active, then you right click, the menu wont come up. Which is about right considering that XSI using all 3 mouse buttons with the transform tools. This is where holding down the ALT button with the right mouse button WILL bring up the right click menu.

However, if you have an objects polygon selected and dont have ANY transform tools active, right clicking WILL bring up the menu.

Weird....but I have gotten into the habbit of just using the ALT key and right clicking no matter what.

is there a list somewhere....like a quick reference??? for hot keys.

or do i have to look in the preferences?.....plase forgive me....i am new to soft.......too much to learnnnnn

a good one comes with the full version.
i assume your using the experience version.
i imagine they have a pdf or something on the softimage site?

I could have a shot at scanning it for you.

hey....thanks...but i found it....click on preview in browser while looking at the keyboard mapping....
