Anybody ever use cloth as rigid bodies?
I have a model of a realistically shattered glass pane. Split up into about 250 simple pieces.
I'm having a hard time getting Maya dynamic rigid bodies to work so I tried cloth, with the rigidity, deform resistance etc cranked. Seems to work quite well, but the behavior is a little bit funny. Slightly floaty. While the pieces are rigid as expected they act more like light weight cardboard than heavy glass.
Any tips? Thanks!!
