Maya can do any rotation order just instruct it to use some other sequence.

However the real problem is what order did the OTHER engine use? If the y angle is not the last one accounted for then you dont have proper axis angles so it might be a bit hard to do any import.
You dont usually call the rotation in axis angles as the one around y because its NOT its about the axis.
