I'm trying to pre-composite a human with a real world scene and I thought that I could use the rotoscoping option to do this, then just run it through a compositor after the animation is done. But I'm having trouble putting in an *avi or *mov file into the rotoscope view. It always comes up with the color bars and no moving pictures or anything. Does anyone have any idea on what's going on? Is there a setting that I'm over looking?
I figured it out!!! the *avi/ *mov as to be render with animation compression before you import into xsi then it will work. So if anyone else was wondering.
