Rotoscoping - Deletion Of Knots

Hello Everyone

My First Post here... I am excited to really get into Shake...

I am having some problems Rotoscoping a Car. The Car is stationary, but I am walking toward it, so Motion is involved. I am trying to isolate the car. As I Rotoscope every 3 frames or so, at some point near the end of my frames I have 25 or so "knots" that I don't need anymore, and they are getting in the way. I delete these knots and it deletes them from the entire timeline (some 100 frames I had done). I am just using the "Auto Key" to key. Moving 3 frames, and re positioning the knots. My questions is, Is there a way I can delete knots without it messing with the previous frames?

No. there is no way to do that in shake. sucks.
Sounds like what you are doing is one large shape and adjusting that over time. That is going to give you the problem your in now. Try and break up the image into little part with as few points as possible. ex. wheel, front of hood, side mirror, etc. this gives you much more control of the shapes and should eliminate your extra knot issue. Hope that helps.
