Hello, i'm working on a snowy mountain project, and i want to make the snow look realistic. so i mixed 2 shaders (one for snow and the other for rock), and blend these togehter using the Sampler Info..... Now..
1) i tried the Normal Camera Y on the sampler info... it works good.. until i animate the camera, each time the camera aim down, everything gets white, each time the camera aim up, everything gets rock.. I understand that the Normal Camera Y depends on the camera relative to that point..
2) so i tried to connect the sampler.PointWorldY to a ramp.vCoord in order to control the in-between so the transition was not too strong.. anyway, with the Ramp it doens't work, and if i plug the sampler.PointWorldY directly to the BlendColor, there's no smooth transition or control over that transition, meaning that every point aiming directly up will be white (snow shader) but ALL the other points that are not looking UP will be rock.. so i need to know how to control these mixing shaders in order to have a nice control on the blending..
anyway has an idea?
i will really appreciated it.
thanks
