Hello everyone,
I'm new to computer-animation and I'd like to ask you a question.
I created a mesh and now would like to animate it. For the animation I use the motion capture data of the Carnegie Mellon University. Thus, I have a ready skeleton which does not match my mesh.
I tried to just rotate the joints and scale them so the skeleton fits my mesh. I assume it is not that easy, because when I load in the animation the character is severely deformed and messed up.
Am I missing some important facts? How can I make the skeleton fit my mesh?
