I've got a question about polyfaces... because, i'm modeling a dragon type thing (sorta like the mutalisks in starcraft) and i need to extrude and scale a bunch of faces down for the chest scales, and i can extrude them all, fine... but when I try and scale them all down simeltaneously (using the scale all axis, that yellow box in the middle of the face) it scales all the faces down, but also, moves them towards the center of all the faces, so it scales down, but also moves all the faces inward, which i dont want, I want to be able to scale the faces down, on a local level, so it wont affect the XYZ position, just the XYC scale...
does that make sense??
example, if I extrude these 4 faces, and then scale them down, this is the result...

when what I want when i scale the faces down, is this...
so like, when I say locally, they all scale down as if I did them individually, but without the hassel of that... is there a setting that I can change (like something that says, face transform "world" to like face transform "local" ?? )
