I made a charactor that I want to use in another scene that ive recently made. However this older charactor is not to scale with the elements of the new scene. I am failing to figure out how to scale this enveloped charactor with RIG and all without the model becomming severly distorted. I tried parenting elements together with a null and also selecting everything and making it a new model... This last step was the closest as everything scaled properly except for one arm.. Can anyone tell me the proper method for this or am I forced to unevelope and then spend the time to paint all those weights again??

i had the same problem, try this:before envelope, it is the best to freeze the operator stack for all geometry of your character, then envelope and scale all together, the character, the skeleton rig and the control objects, under one null e.g. .
