Here is the first animation i've ever post in here.
A group work. Take a look and give some advice.

Hmm that's pretty good.
I've allways wondered why people name their movies thing slike demo or reel.. Half the time I can't remember who's file it is after I've downloaded it because they don't put their name anywhere on it?? Why is that?
lazyness?
Anyway the animation is good... it has a lot of very nice touch's... however the scarecrow and the female ballerina type thing leave the first shot very fast which is great. But when they enter the second shot the scarecrow is moving slow and the ballerina is suspended in the air for too long. The little dance could do with some more anticipation and re-action, also the heads of the characters seem too inflexible reducing the fluidity you have. In the first shot the scarecrow seems to bow to early before the ballerina becomes fully visible... if I had done it I might have opted for the scarecrow to be afraid of this shimmering blue figure, react to the beauty of it when she becomes visible.. pause... then bow to her. This would add maybe 2 seconds to your animation but it would give more depth to your characters when they are animated...
Overall I really like it... and can`t wait to see the final version.
gmask: sorry, i will keep that in mind. since this short is only part of our demo. Due to some reason, we have to finish a chunk first, so maybe that's why my teamate named it as like default.
QtNFlufy: You gives good and detail advice. I 've quit agree what you were mentioning. Bye the way, do you guys think the blue of the sky is too blue or... doesn't look right? Or do you think it is a good style and keep it that way?
its fine unless your going for hyper realistic... though I would like to see some small fluffy clouds in the distance to break up the huge mass of blue and maybe some moutains back there aswell ![]()
I agree that the sky could use some clouds... also, I don't know if this has been mentioned or not, but the scarecrow is quite dark (at least on my screen). Maybe add a fill light for him or lighten his textures...
Good work, thanks for sharing...
