Scene Background Change Between Diferent Textures

ok wat i want to know is say i have 3 textures for the sky day light, sunset & night....now i want the texture to change for the sky from daylight to sunset at say frame 50 , and then from sunset to night at frame 75 and back from night to daylight at frame 150....how can i get this effect .?

In the hypershade under 'Color Utilities' you can find a Blend node. So this node blends two textures (like two of your sky images). You can animate the amount of blending with the blender slider. So for example if you want to change from daylight to sunset around fame 50ish you might want to animate the blender to be 0 at frame 40 and 1 at frame 60. That gives you a 20-frame blending animation.
So now if you want to have 3 images blended you just got to stack one blend node within another blend node. In this way blendNode1 can blend between two of your sky maps; and blendNode2 can blend between the third skymap and blendNode1.

Or ramp node if you want to blend between many nodes. (just connect the valiues into the color slots.)

i didnt do either..i found another way abt it ....in the file location below it has a image sequence i enabled tht ...the textures i named them in a sequence eg.tex01,tex02 ...etc tht solved my problem

but how to loop the texture...i mean say there r 10 images then the sequece goes to 10 but after 10th image it doesnt go back to image 1 ...how do i get it to loop. i.e come back to image 1

Edit the expression in the image number field to read

...something thats there...=(frame-1)%10+1;

This assumes that your start frame is 1 and your sequence is 1-10
