hello i have a query, i have a model with a very high poly count and i want to break it apart (like a controlled explosion) but i can't find a tool to do this in soft2. i was wondering if anybody knew if there was a script that would do the following
1 select poly mesh
2 change it to poly view
3 number the polys
4 select poly1
5 break the poly from the original mesh
6 delete the original poly
7 select the nex poly
8 repeat 5-7
9 end on the last poly
the next set of instructions could be a seperate op
10 group resulting polys
11 select them all
12 key frame in original positions
13 animate from the point of origin (sliders pos/rot)
14 key frame end position
any advice on writing the script myself would be preferable but hey any advice is good advice
