Imagine you have a project that you need to deliver in SD first, and then in HD further down the line.
Is there any way to work in SD, and then, later on, resize everything to HD? The benefit being, that SD is so much faster to work with, that it allows me to get the bulk of the compositing done, color corrections, etc etc, with maximum speed of interaction.
I realize once you resize to HD, you'll probably have to finesse stuff here and there - matte lines, etc. But that's ok with me. I prefer that to working in HD from the start and being bogged down by slower interactions & renders.
I know of course that you can parent all your layers to a Null and scale up the null, but that's not good enough. It doesn't scale your mask feathers, matte choke paramters, etc.
Also, I am talking about complex project files that have many many pre-composites fed into each other.
Also, I'm talking about hundreds of shots.
Is there a script that could do this for instance?
Note that I'm not asking about upresing methods, I know Topaz Enhance is great for that, or Video Enhancer, etc. I'm talking about taking a whole After Effects project, and somehow automatically upscaling everything in it.
Also, I'm not asking about upresing my finished, rendered comp. I'm talking about upscaling the comp itself, so that anything in the comp that has been downscaled, regains its lost resolution.
