Set/query Attribute Editor Window Width

Hi, i was wondering if anyone knows how I might be able to query and then change the width of the attribute editor window ?

I agree its pretty pointless but its something my teacher at uni asked me to do :confused:

(actually, look in the UIComponents.mel script. It's all there. I'm not going to wade through it for your teacher though..... )

If its really the floating window this is quite basic stuff:

lsUI -type "window";
to get all windows. You'll see "AEWindow".

window -q -w AEWindow;
to get the current width.

window -e -w 300 AEWindow;
to set the width.

But I hope he asked you to do this for the embedded Attribute Editor. This is a little more tricky but not undoable. Good luck.
