Setting Start/end Frames From Image Sequence

Hi

I wanted to set Maya's start and ends frames to automaticaly match a image sequence that I am loading into a file node. Does anyone know how to this in MEL?

Well all you need to do is monitor the file nodes file attribute with scriptjob querry whats on disk and put the minmax.

I am still not sure how I would read all the sequence of files.

If I could list them all in an array I could use minmax to find the end and start frames.

As I dont know how many frames would be in the sequence or the start frame I am not sure how I would querry them.
