Settings For-exr-for Its Full Potential

Dear Masters !

    Can anyone tell me, How to use the full dynamic range of EXR, right now my viewer and default settings are Linear, is that ok, or will this clip my blacks and whits and restrict the full potential of the CGI rendered EXR inputs.

i have read in Nuke Documents that, use sRGB modes for 8 and 16 bits, and Linear for EXR( float)......

i will be grateful to you if you can guide me through.

Usually, you can let everything on default, nuke will find the better way of working it. And as he know what exr are, he will choose the right setup.
Your viewer srgb or linar.... whatever, is only a LUT displaying, not importing more or less data. Nuke is working always in a full 32 bit environment, whatever you load 8 or 16
it is not like shake ! so let everything on default and if it looks right to you on your screen, don't touch anything.
