I have tried to render out a seperate shadow pass in my scene which consists of the exterior of a house with glass windows. In a normal render, the raytraced shadows cast through the dirt textured glass, enveloping the room in darkness, and casting nice shadows on the walls. However, when I render out the shadows as a seperate pass and composite in photoshop, they look totally different. They are a slightly different colour and, more importantly, they don't cast through the glass, leaving the inside walls all bright and non-realistic. I've set the reflection, refraction and ray depth upto 10 with no effect. What am I doing wrong????
