Shake 4 Bug ? Macro Bug?

try this, add a WarpX node, do nothing, just make the node the macro.

now, try use the macro, the macro didn't work.

This node " WarpX " work by expresion .....

Ex :

xExpr : float xc=(x-width/2); float yc=(y-height/2);
float r=sqrt(xc*xc+yc*yc); float newr=r*sin(r/100);
width/2+ newr*xc/r

yExpr : float xc=(x-width/2); float yc=(y-height/2);
float r=sqrt(xc*xc+yc*yc); float newr=r*sin(r/100);
height/2+ newr*yc/r

yes, i just copy the expression (those maths example in the manual WarpX node), then make it as macro. it work fine if you use the warpx node(with the expression)in the workspace, but once you turn it into macro, the macro is error.

What is the code in your macro? ie. When you open your macro and it show red, that there is an error, what does the code read in each of your paramaters?

The only reason I ask is because I have run into this and fixed it by editing the code to keep the original expression, but I don't allow it to be editable because it would then no longer work due to the expression.

Send me the code for each parameter when you get a moment and I'll look at it.

in user manual (shake 4) page 817 - 819, there's a few example there. tried each of them, it is ok. but once you turn it to macro, the macro is error.

even if you just put eprx = x , and epry = y, turn it to macro, it won't work, or do nothing just turn the default warpX node to macro, it won't work.

may be my machine only, or all the same.
