Finally shake 4 is here...
While trying to work with the cache node, I get a red node with ab error saying
not cached - node not upstream from changed node.
I do a Shift click, and it still doesn't cache anything!
Any clue anyone?

Maybe a stupid question, but did you go to the render menu and click on "render cache nodes"?
Of course I did...
Still red afterwards!
oops, sorry. Didnt mean to insult your intelegience or anything. I thought it might have been a stupid suggestion

Doing some tests right now!
Did a cache wipe and changed my cache location and I got positive results suddenly!
The weird thing is that in terms of workflow I do exactly the same thing as I did on Friday but am getting diffrent results!

Sounds like a permissions issue. We have had permissions problems too with chaching.
Are you the Jean who worked for DPS and JCS?
