Hi folks. I'm trying to run Shake 4.0 under Fedora Core5 (32-bit), and getting lots of crashes, recently.
Systems is a Dell 650 w/ 4Gb RAM (3GB seen in FC5), and the issue appears to be way too many divide-by-zero errors, thru the QuickPaint node.
I'm working with film rez (2048x1556) frames, and attempting some frame-by-frame 'interp' work thru the node.
Looking at the terminal window, I'm seeing lots lines that say:
00a7e000-00a7f000 rwxs 00000000 00:08 557064 /SYSV00000000 (deleted)
00322000-00324000 rwxp 00000000 00:10 1219 /dev/zero <----this gets repeated alot, w/ different block #s
Looks like hex memory blocks, but why the divide by zero? Eventually, shake simply disappears! The autosave simply does the same thing and kills itself within a few minutes of use.
Help!
