hi!
the workflow is similar to what Bernard wrote before
only that is the opossite way..
-- let's say u have a null and create a custom ppg,(parameter>new custom parameter set)
then create the custom parameters with "parameter>new custom parameter".keep this ppg open.
-- after u have instanced the shapes as shape clips in the animation mixer(don't forget to uncheck normalize)
open the explorer(8)and go to "mixer>tracks>shape, expand the first mixer_shape track and find
the "weight" under instanced action
--from the sliders ppg drag the first green button to the weight's green button in the explorer, close the
expression editor that pops up and here u are..do the same for the rest of the sliders.
now if u want to create "poses" that will be a combination of the previous sliders do the following
-- in the slider's ppg mark all the custom parameters and create a pose by sliding the sliders to
values that make u happy..store this pose as an action "store>marked parameters-current values"..do
the same for the poses u want (smile,sad..ect)
--instance those actions in the mixer as action clips
--create a new null,a custom ppg, custom parameters and name them as the poses.keep this ppg open.
--now do the same as the previous workflow with the new sliders ppg, but this time use the action's weights in the mixer folder.
what Bernard wrote before is another way too, but i haven't tested it extensivly and had some problems
that's why i asked him if everything is ok with proxy parameters following the same workflow.
he is experienced (i've read many of his posts in many forums) so the most possible is that i've done
something wrong, but i'd like to hear his opinion about which of the 2 methods gives the less headaches..
one day i'll give it again a try with the proxy way..
if u have any questions let me know!!
best regards
george
