The title says it all. Anyone on this list going to be there? If so... who is going to the Softimage Users group? I know everyone is anxious to see XSI 2.0 in action. And, of course, SIGGRAPH will definitely be the best place to check it out.

Yep, I'm going - wouldn't miss the user group meeting for anything. In fact, I leave tomorrow.
I'll be conducting some of the FREE hands-on XSI training at the HP booth one day during the week as advertised on the mainpage. Don't know which day yet.

I very excited that I'm attending my first siggraph this year. I also sign up for every free XSI trainning at siggraph and user group meeting. One problem is that I'm not sure if I can attend user group meeting even thouht I sign up reason being is I don't have businese card nor do i work for any studio.
A question. Do you have too purchase a Student Conference Select pass to go to Gnomon XSI Student night or can it be just a poor student who can parly afford Exhibit plus pass? I ask this because I sign up for it.

The business card is so they can enter you in raffles and mail you all sorts of junk mail after the show. Don't worry about it. Just show up with your school ID or driver's license and explain your a student and everything will be hunky dori.

Then you better find the confirmation! The user group meeting is sold out. If you didn't sign up in advanced you're out of luck except to wait by the door and hope there are no-shows.
If you signed up for the FREE training, you'll need to bring your confirmation to that too! (the training registration confirmation, that is)
