Simple ScriptJob

hi all,

I am using a runtime expression to drive 14 keyable
attributes. When I change the current time and alter
one of these attributes there is no feedback or updating
until the time changes. So I am creating a ScriptJob to
reload the expression when one of the attributes changes.
This works fine, but at the moment I am having to create
14 scriptJobs, one for each attribute. Anyone know how to
create a single scriptJob that checks 14 attributes to see
whether any changes have been made? Would save me a lot of
extra work!

Cheers,

IvorG

Just use a for loop that cycles through the attributes each frame. Make sure the the attributes, or an alias for them are sequentially numbered like this.

string $tempString;

for (int $i = 0; $i < size; $i++){
$tempString = ("your code...attribute" + $i + ";");
eval $tempString;
}

hi,

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
I still have a little work to do on the scriptJob
generally, to get it working how I like. But you
helped make it a bit easier. Cheers.
