Simple Tangent Question

Hey all,

I am rediscovering Maya after a gap of several years and have a real simple question. In Animation Graph I can't seem to change the weight of a tangent to affect the velocity of the animation. For example, I set a key at 0 and one at 100. I break the tangents and adjust the handles to set an nice ease in and ease out. I can move the handles up and down but I can't "pull" the handles to really stretch out the handles, I can just move them around. I have looked in the reference and tutorials but can't find an answer. I have also tried the free and weighted tangents but no luck. So what am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

Pick your tangent, go to curves->weighted tangents. and then go to keys->free tangent weights.

Edit: sorry, i should have read your whole post. I guess if weighted tangents and free tangent weights doesn't work for you, I'm stumped. I just tested it and it works fine for me

Hope this helps.

That's it. I was just doing the order wrong or something. Now if I could just get that Make Hole tool work I'd be in business. Thanks!
