SimpleTech HD

Any opinions on SimpleTech? I'm looking at the SimpleTech 250GB external HD with USB2.0/Firewire or the IOGear 200GB with USB2.0/Fireewire. The SImpleTech is only $3 more for 50GB more. It got really bad reviews on Amazon but good reviews on Newegg. The IOGear has good reviews all around. I'd like to get more space for less money, but obviously quality and reliability are more important.

If you're in need of an external drive either consider the one from IOGear or Western Digital. Both offer good performance drives for your money. As for a place to purchase such things I've found Tigerdirect.ca/.com and NCIX.com to be very reasonable.
