Edit: I now realise the transparency was because tthe smoke was inside another (big) fluid container that makes up the fog over the city. Since i will render them in separate passes that will not be a problem.
One thing i have experienced however is that my software renders with fluids are always more detailed than my mental ray renders which always look a bit dull. any tips on how to fix that?
Hi again, havn't got any reply on my last post yet butwill try again =) Im getting to the rendering section of this assignment but when i added a background to my fluid i realised it's half transparent- no matter how much i crank opacity input bias or maximize transparency it stays this way. It doesnt fel like a regular dissapation in the end of the fluid either, its more like the hwole fluid is becoming transparent. My settings are in the post below.
Is this a shading issue or am i not relasing enough density or something? Really happy for replies. And if anyone can tip me about a forum that focuses on fluids a bit more it would be nice to get a tip on that as well.
Thanx!
