how to rig a snake,tentacles etc is there any good tutorials.
I think simple skeleton line made out of 4 joins or so with ik would work, but you can go as far as using dynamic curves.
try the sine deform tool.......digitaltutors have a tut too.
animation-->deform-->create non linear-->sine
adjust the amplitude and frequency and then animate the offset....i made a snake rig with this earlier,it works well.
