Soft|3d 3.8

dose any one still use softimage 3d, i have since move to maya but would like to get back in to soft3d good idea or bad idea, my lic only has MR an 3.8 or forgot which one it is.

I only know 2 people that still use Soft3D.
One guy doesn't need anything new to do the sort of work he does.
The other guy is months away from retirement and doesn't want to learn something new.

Everyone else has moved on to XSI.
