hi, since this is a professional forum. can anyone tell me the price of softimage 3.9.x for irix/NT/linux ? thank you all.

This is from the last quotes I had last winter:

I think it is $3,000 US for Base and $4,500 for Extreme. The main difference is Extreme has a Mental Ray license, Pheonix Particles, and Meta-clay tools.

I believe that MR alone retails at $2,000+ so the difference in price is well worth it. FYI: You will need MR to do anykind of special effects.
