Hello people of the CC Forums,
I am a prospective student to a few 3d Animation college programs and currently have a rather large scholarship opportunity. The program asks for either a portfolio of traditional work or a short animation and I think I can really wow them with even a small 3d work. I have used Maya once before to create a character model and am getting the hang of hotkeys and keeping 4-sided pollys. I've made a basic reference sheet and am ready to start modeling. My main concern is that I may run into a problem or two once I get going with the model and was wondering if someone even a bit more experienced than I would offer up some form of contact info (Skype, AIM, MSN, FB, Google, Yahoo, text) in case I get stuck. As much as I would love to work through my own problems, the project is due within the month and it would be great just to have some sort of lifeline.
I like to think im not a pest and any help at all would be greatly appreciated. You can pm me or feel free to send me an email: MattTidridge@gmail.com . I'm also loosely following this tutorial/method of modeling at the moment if anyone is inturrested or has a faster way http://www.thehobbitguy.com/tutorials/polymodeling/index.html.
Thanks and here's hoping this thread is in the correct place.
Cheers, Matt Tidridge
